Cage Accessories
Feed Bowl for pellets: this can be a bowl that sits on the floor (some chinchillas will go potty in it) or attach to the cage's wall.
Glass water bottle: We don't recommend plastic as your chinchilla will most likely chew it at some point and you will find a wet cage.
Bedding: You can use pine shavings (never use cedar) or anti-pill fleece. Never use Carefresh or paper type bedding as it can cause an impaction when they inevitably eat it.

Toys/Extras: Wood toys made from safe wood (kiln dried pine), Lava Ledges or pumice stones, Chinese Finger Traps, hanging toys that do not include bells.
Ledges: Wooden or metal ledges. We like wood best as it provides a chewing option and it also helps to callus their feet, making them stronger and less susceptible to breakage and infection (this is especially important if you choose the fleece route for bedding).

Wooden or Metal Hide/House/Hut: This can be as simple or extravagant as you like; it just provides them a safe space if they ever feel the need to escape for a while

Fleece Hammocks or Tubes: Most chins love lounging out on a hammock or fleece lines tube
